I’m moving on, growing strong in Holy Ghost fire.
Leaving all my troubles and my sorrows behind.
I’ve set my eyes on Heaven – know the work’s already done.
By saying bye to yesterday, I’m heading towards the Son.

Well, I started on this journey many miles and years ago.
I may not see the future, oh, but this one thing I know.
My God knows what He’s doing, though I may not understand
I can’t see where we’re heading, but I know my Father can.

I’ve been struck down, persecuted, pressed but not destroyed.
This road’s a little rocky, but my faith is growing strong.
I’m learning to depend upon God’s word, and trust His hand.
